Anyone have any Idea’s on what else on brake system I should look out for ?
Thanks
How's the air system? Are there any audible leaks? Are the tanks still strong? Do the tank drains work? How is the overpressure safety valve? Is the air gauge and low pressure buzzer functional?

EDIT: Added buzzer and gauge

Thanks :: I sprayed the pectcocks with PBBlaster. Haven’t tried to loosen them yet. Gonna spray again. Do not hear any air leak as yet. I run Her for 40 minutes every 10-12 days. I ease Her out trying not to step on brake. I use parking brake to stop. But Air pressure always at zero after sitting for those days. I listen to buzzer a bit then ease her out after start up then air system gets charged up quick.
Now I’m gonna have to look into the over pressure safety valve. Didn’t know about it. Thanks for Bringing it up. 👍🏼
Thanks

During run time. Dash Gauges
Air stays round the 90 psi line after charge up.

::::; Overpressure Safety Valve :: is that the same as Air System Safety Valve - if so then I found it in manual for the M35A2.
I will look into maintenance for it. Do You Guys have any suggestions on how to deal with it if needed.
Thanks
JHutch

One thing that needs to be on the list, when you are getting a new-to-you Deuce road ready, is checking the rear suspension. Dog bone (torsion bar) rubber bushings to ensure they won't fall off, and also the pivot point for the rear tandem axle assembly - the trunnion. Trunnion wear, play, safety and lubrication.

In short, the truck either has a bearing or a bushing there. Bushing is preferred. There is a mod for the cap that makes greasing this pivot point easier. For greasing, cap needs to be loosened (or taken off and modified). Cap off also allows checking the trunnion lock nut for tightness.

Thank You. I will check into the suspension on My Deuce. 👍🏼

Was just under rear end. The torsion bar connection points look flush with ends and lined up. Didn’t see damage to bushings at ends of torsion bars. At the center of the wheel suspension the large C-clamp area could look better.
