Clanking Turbo

Like I said, the clanking turbo was presurized gas, back feeding into the next cylinder, and into the intake side, when the intake valve was open. I think you said the turbo was OK, but be sure to check it. A bad intake valve will cause that symptom too, and mostly that's what I was thinking, but the gasket let the compresion into the next hole, when a valve was open. Good Luck on the fix!
