Anyone tried using compression fitting on their Fuel line on 5-ton?

I've used them on gas fuel injections... but haven't seen anything about it here?

I saw you were also asking on the dual fuel line thread as well so we are talking about maybe 250 psi max?. I would not use regular hardware store compression fittings confidently. However, I would use the Parker stainless steel ones on steel lines. Big difference in quality. We use those at work on air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.

No way I would use one permanently on the discharge unless is was a side of the road emergency.
Lots have used hardware store fitting on their trucks for this. Check out the thread on the dual fuel line mod for the NHC250. It is not like the pressures encountered on most other diesel injection pumps.
