Searched and looked through the TM 9-808 but no luck. Got the wheel with new tube and flap and ring nuts just snugged down for now but want correct torque number for the 5/8 stud / nut. Tanks

Yep not original but glad Clay put them on it as it was so nice when I had to change the tube. I am not a purest. I checked out that forum with a search but thanks but wheel is back together. I check the other wheel nuts and they all were just over 100 foot pounds so I went with 115 and rechecked the other three to 115. Thanks.

The combat wheels were not supplied originally to the M37. They did come on the WWII Dodge Weapons Carriers (WC). You might check the WWII WC form for that information. https://steelsoldiers.com/forums/wwii-dodge-trucks.65/
But they used combat wheels in Korea, there were probably a lot more of those laying around than the M37 stock Budd wheels so they threw them on. I have a huge M37 picture collection and I have found a few examples of them wearing those wheels. I have a 1943 set myself actually.

They put combat wheels on M37s in Korea, I have pictures in my collection, it was probably out of convenience not policy, but it did happen and I have them for my 52' M37. They are just better wheels, who wants to deal with split rims anyway.
