Crankshaft timing marks?

I am rebuilding the bottom end of my M1009 cucv. I have the new crankshaft installed and tried to put the timing chain back on but there are no marks on the crankshaft gear or the camshaft gear. Do you use the woodruff key ways to align the crank Yo the cam or have the marks just worn off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The TM says you have marks to align.
