Yes, did everything myself. You split the floor all the way to back wall and spread front portion out to line up. Several pics on these forums showing guys who did this.
Thanks. Going to source parts and do one. The local yard wants $2k for a cab with doors. Hoping to do better on price.

I've seen several cabs in the $500-700 price range. Of course non of those were close to me. I ended up buying a complete parts truck for $3000. Used what I needed and now parting out the rest.

Have you had it over any rough terrain yet? Just wondering if the closeness of the rear tires would cause any issues.

That is exactly what i would love to do for an off-road toy. Keep it 6x6, extend the cab and have a bed on it. I could still pull out quite a bit of firewood even with the bed shortened. Nice job! I am new to vehicle fabrication so it is a bit overwhelming but I intend to try it anyway.
