Is it normal for front leaf springs to form a frown versus a smile? My truck sites normal?

Actually, the front axle springs on your CUCV should have a "slight smile", not a frown.

They should but over time they turn to a frown . . . thats how it is on my M1008

There has been a thread start for just about every part on a CUCV
READ THE TM's its all covered and yes they have glass windows and a tailgate that opens . Use the search function all these questions have been covered .
If you have previously owned this type of vehicel and still don't know anything about them then maybe you should get civi trucks with warranties.
