Custom 2.5 ton Rockwell Double Beadlocks

Here is some new wheels im working on. They are 20x10 and yes they are double beadlock so no more bead issues and yes for the 6 lug 2.5 ton rockwell and would be great for someone wanting to build a bobbed duce running the big michelens. The original wheel was a 5 ton combat wheel so they are lighter then using the hiemtt 2 piece wheels. These wheels have a 5.5" of back spacing so should ride nicely on the rig there being built for.

I have thought about that and thats why i didnt go with a solid plate center. The center is open around the edges just like the stock duece dually wheel cuz thats what i used for my new centers. So i hope they will let the mud loose instead of trapping it in.

The rim itself is not really a double beadlock unless you install the internal beadlock inside the tire, right? Nonetheless it looks great!

Nice lookin wheels you built too. I have the inserts to go in them with new o rings and valve stems so yes they will be a true double beadlock wheel and they have 5.5 inches of back spacing.

Look good, what type of rig are you putting them on? Haven't seen many (any really) bobbed deuces running around the Randolph ORV.
Well to answer the first part of the quote : For now these are just for my own rig and a closes friends rig but ill have to see how things play out once i get these built.

The rig that these are going on is not a bobbed duce and yeah i would give it a whirl at wheeling one in randolph...lol...
There going on my custom crawler that is already running rockwell axles and i got tired of slipping beads so why not take the military parts a step further on my rig and mod the wheels

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "double beadlock" thing.....
This insert in the picture goes inside the tire then you slide the wheel through the tire and bolt the two halves together and the insert squeezez both beads of the tire against the bead lips of the whee tightly which does not allow the tire to spin or slip off the bead basically locking the bead of the tire in place

Yeah, I use those. But it is called a beadlock. There is no such thing as a "double" beadlock. You can only fit ONE inside the tire.

Ya thats true you can only fit on inside the tire but its actually a double bead lock locking both the inner and outer tire beads against the inner and outer wheel bead lips. a single or just bead lock mainly locks only the outer tire bead lip.
