Still having problems dating the M36 gasser. Saw a post that indicated a date code on the axle. Where might one look on a Rockwell to fin a date code? Thanks. Bob

The axle data tags are right on the housing in plain view. Check out the following pic. You can see the metal tag right in the center of the front axle.

As a matter of fact, I do. Just in the short time it was under the shelter, the sun made its presence known. I've got it all stacked in the van body waiting for me to prime it up. I'm going to try to do it next weekend.

DR you have great eyes brother. The second truck doesn't even have a front differential ID plate. Heck, I can't even find the axle assy. (hehehe)
