Deleting topics?

I wanted to delete a topic that I started but when I went to the edit page, there isn't any button for deletion. Any advice?

To clarify:
I wanted to remove a transportation offer since I have already taken the trip and it was over a year ago. There's no point in taking up server space with an old topic.

Also, there isn't any way to delet a post to a topic either.

You will need to have a moderator do it for you or you can edit it(remove the info and add someting else in it's place)

In the edit section of a post, it says I can edit or delete a post. I couldn't find the delete button so maybe that option needs to be removed?

I dont think it allows you to delete it once replys have been made.

This may change in the future....

Give me the link of the post you want gone, or you can just post in the end of it, that its no longer valid.

Thanks Mike. How about removing the delete option from editing posts?

I think it is best that the Mod’s be the ones to delete posts after replies.
On another board a member got his feelings hurt and deleted years worth of posts that
had a lot of really good information that everyone could use.
