I believe you need a special pulley wrench for the Deuce compressor. Search for "compressor wrench" using the google search button (under search at the top of the page) and you should find several threads.

Somebody CADded one up and I believe RDixiemiller had a bunch laser-cut a few years ago...

I had a heck of a time pulling the pulley off a good take-off I sold to someone. I used my BIG puller, put a lot of tension on it, and smacked it with a hammer. Popped right off, but I was worried I was going to break the pulley, there was that much tension on it.

Heat the pulley hub, and it will come off a lot easier - the same for reinstalling the pulley on a new compressor. Also, be sure that there aren't any burrs on the new compressor shaft (like at the very end where the chamfer ends). Before you pop the pulley off the old compressor, see exactly how far it is from the compressor so you can install the new one in the same location. Take a few photos so you can be sure that everything is back where it should be.
