deuce and 5 ton interchange

just had a quick question, i came across a couple of 5 tons that a guy is going to scrap and was wondering if parts off of these would fit my deuce,specifically a hard top and a winch. also both of them have the multifuel so would the power steering components swap over as well. thanks.

hardtop will fit, the winch will not. get everying you can from it and sell what ever you dont use! like the winch, frame extensions, bumper etc etc...

or offer him scrap price for them..

If you were closer, I would say I have a deuce winch, but I need a 5-ton winch. If you were closer.

If I understand it correctly, you can use the power steering pump from the 5-ton multifuel, but you have to match it up with a steering gear-box from a civy truck to make it work. There are a few threads about that system here.

Cab tub, doors, seats, WS, dash W/ instruments & switches, lights and wiring harness, steering wheel and upper column, complete engines, PTO (parts), winch DS, etc, etc.... I could use all that to nicely fix and upgrade any old M35!

I thought the 5 ton cab and top were about 8-10 inches wider than the deuce.

The 800 series has the same cab, 900 series is wider.

I think only the 900 series 5 tons have the wider hardtop.

I need the outer frame extensions and one of the frame mounts for the winch. The pic shows the frame mount that I need. Both left and right are the same so if you can get one that would be great.

I have family in SLC so shipping should not be a problem.

You might swap out the LDT for the LDS.

ill talk to him this weekend and see what he is going to let it go for. one of them is a wrecker but i know he was going to keep the some winches off of it, as far as i know right now he was just going to scrap the rest.
