Deuce center console and pass spring seat

Did this over the summer and just now getting around to posting it. I put in a spring seat on the passenger side and wanted a center console of sorts for stashing things. Since there really isn't much space for a middle seat anyways, this is what I went with. No new holes in the cab floor other than the access panel in the floor. Both ammo cans are lockable with a padlock, though the 50 cal can I think I will just leave the lid off all the time as it makes a nice catch-all. Bolts going through the bottom of the 30 cal ammo can keep the whole thing from being easily removable when the can is locked. All the horizontal areas are covered with pieces of a mil sleeping mat for cushioning.

The open area between the seats will fit my 12v dc cooler or whatever else.

It is hard to see in the pics, but just above the map holder is a 3-4" wide/deep storage area across the width of the "console" for more junk.

I mounted some seats in my truck over the weekend from a *gasp* 1999 Nissan Maxima. I had to weld up my own mounting brackets

I had them just laying around so I threw them in. Some camo seat covers will make them tactical.

I'm a little closer to the steering wheel than I would like but I am comfy.

Next I'll be working on a center console. Maybe some of the larger 20mm ammo cans.
