Deuce dump at work

After spending all summer getting the dump road worthy it finally paid off. But it wouldn't have happened without the knowledge gleamed from reading this forum on a daily basis. I drove about 170 miles to our summer cabin with only one mishap. The drivers side mirror fell out of the metal shell. I then hauled 12 loads of sand(36 yards) for the beach and 4 loads of top soil for some low spots without a hitch. Three yards seemed like a good load. The pit didn't have scales and I didn't want to rut the lawn too bad. The lake level goes down every fall and was down by two feet now. I was able to back right up to the waters edge and dump. I even haulled six loads for my neighbor. The truck drove great and in some ways is easier to drive than my m37.

It's nice being able to have the toys earn their keep! :) Your tipper looks nice.
You are not far from me Larry. Now I know who to call if I need a load of sand dumped on my shore.... :)

Very nice looking dumper there! I love pics showing our members using their MVs for useful purposes. Don't get me wrong, show trucks are nice too, but there's something about having a military type vehicle and putting it to good use fixing up someone's property, house, moving other objects, etc.

Keep up the good work!

I think M35 dumps are one of the coolest looking trucks out there and your truck looks great.
I unloaded 3 yards of 5/8 minus from the back of my deuce with a shovel a couple weeks ago and I was really wishing I had a dump bed.
