deuce fuel tank as auxillary tank for 1031

any reason this would not work? Has a fuel pump already, 24v, fuel sending unit that could be wired to an auxillary fuel guage? Seems like it is tailor made for the job. Any observations?

Just secure it good in the bed.....I would use it to pump fuel into the main tank rather than trying it plumb it into the fuel lines due to the return fuel system.

i plan to tow this truck with my bobber to some events next year and wanted to have more fuel on board "just in case". I figured I would use it as a transfer tank. Hook the fuel pump up to a switch and get a hose and nozzle for the deuce pump. flip the switch and pump into either vehicle when needed. And like I said the fuel guage could even be scavenged to tell how much was in it as a glance.
