Gentlemen I have a question I would like your opinion on please. Last Fall I picked up a 71 M35A2 the truck was in very good shape both bodywise and mechanically, The guy I bought it from informed me that depending on how cold it is you should run the manifold heater from anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds BEFORE you start to turn the engine over. Well Now you see my mistake, I believed him before I read the TMs! I did it his way for maybe 15 engine starts before I read the TMs and figured out I was doing it all wrong. SORRY for being long winded here but do you think that I damaged anything by doing it the wrong way again for approx. 15 engine starts? I do hope not but if I did that is just another lesson learned! Please give me you opinion on this! Thanks a bunch
