deuce oil seepage.

ive been driving my deuce for a long time and now i find and oil seepage on the driver side of motor.looks like its running back to bell housing and down ,but does not drip oil.and now there is white smoke at start up but then gos to black at running temp only looks like down 2 quartzs oil in 8 months. amy help with this.im thinking head casket?
