Buying a m109a2 for my buisness and going to tow a trailer with it. My question is has any one used this. (Trailer Electrical Converter, 24 Volt Military to 12 Volt Civilian, UTC 2412RV) for a civilian trailer and how did it work out.

You could also change out the bulbs to LED's because they will usually operate between 8 to 30 volts. That means you could use them on a 12 or 24 volt system. Probably would be cheaper as well.

I tow our Troops scout trailer (a donated tow hauler) with my pick up and deuce. We swapped all the lights for LEDs and haven't had a problem. Lights look the same with either truck.
