My M35A2 will not shift into fifth gear. With the top cover off, the forks do move in and out of fifth. With the top cover off I can manually shift the gears in the trans in and out of fifith and four. Put them together and all I have is fourth gear. The trans shifts fine into and out of all the gears but fifth. When you shift from fourth to fifth the gear shift seems to dead head against some thing. You can't even double clutch into gear, or grind it into gear. Is there a stop I missed in the TM? :?:
