IF you go to GMG, they sell a used box ($429) http://greenmountaingenerators.com/...a-used-distribution-box-nsn-6110-01-050-0654/ and a new box ($799) http://greenmountaingenerators.com/...3a-new-distribution-box-nsn-6110-01-050-0654/ for both the 002 and 003 and as the same part # and NSN.

It seems like to me they are the same. If no one here can give you a first hand verdict, you could call Bob at GMG and ask him. He rebuilds these things for a living and should definitely know.
