I agree. I never cut any of mine out. i just bought a new one at Autozone and it was made in USA. It was a Delco Remy and had been on the shelf a few years. I will just put a new one if I don't get a response. The new one was less then $20. and was warranted for life. Can't beat that. If it is a known issue. It cat be mounted for easy access and unplugged when the need arises. i have had Ford solenoids stick and plow solenoids. So nothing you do is fool proof.
