DUKW Ride Across the Columbia River To A Veterans Day Parade

Hello,
5 Nov. 2011...Vancouver, WA. always has thier Veterans Day Parade the Sat. prior to Veterans Day. I took my DUKW across the Columbia River from Portland to Vancouer to go in thier parade. Why drive over a bridge when there is a perfectly good river to cross!!! The weather was very wet and cold. But that did not stop us. 4 friends actually went with me. A very small price to pay to honor Veterans. Here is a video of a beach landing.
