The truck has the demilled DWF kit and I will get it back together. My 1990 M998 had its sensor cup on a frame rail I believe. I understand the newer models have it mounted more up front. Anyone have a pic of where they are located now? This M1097a2 was rebuilt in 2014 in case it matters.

on my M1123 (2009 rebuild) it's just behind the passenger side wheel well on the outside of the frame. There is a bracket from the Marine Armor Kit that was left on my truck directly in front of it.

Interesting. That is where it was installed on my 1990 I had. Maybe they are still in same location. I will be trying to piece this thing back together, would almost rather buy the install kit short the stacks and do a new install.

Gotcha. I actually just found the outline of where it was when they sprayed that undercoating on it.

Sorry to chime in so late, but I just stumbled upon those two images from a GP auction of USMC M997 ambulances. Seems like the M997 (when fitted with a DWF kit) had the sensor cup relocated to the inside of the frame rail indeed. My best guess for the reason is because on the M997 with its air condition, there are A/C hoses running where the sensor cup on non-DWF vehicles is.

Pic 2 apparently shows the bracket with the sensor cup hanging about loose. Those Marine M997s were definitely A0 vehicles, with 6.2 NA, 3-speed tranny, etc.
