Early M37 era wire connectors called??

I know this isn't on point but I'm going crazy trying to remember the name of the M37 era wire connectors used on the lighting. I know the black rubber are called Packard connectors but what are the older metal connectors called.

Old man getteng older and I'm afraid the brain is beginning to get a little firm.
