Looks a little like my exhaust brake cylinder...could also be used for radiator shutters.

Maybe I could use it to open and close the door.
Off topic--I don't have an exhaust brake, but do have big hills.
Right now the m35 seems to provide some engine braking. Comments on engine brake ?
