It has to be something simple but hell if i can find it, maybe ive just been staring at it too long.

Ok, so I pulled the batteries out when I was building my turbo kit and keeping in mind the truck was 100% functional prior to this.

Threw brand new batteries back in getting ready for first fire and truck has zero power past the power lug. I have 24v at the lug and everything is hooked up but truck is completely dead, no smart box, no lights and no power at the ignition switch.

Looking at the TM the only non starter related wires feeding from the power lug into the truck are these 6B and 6C which are connected. Are these the feeds for the chassis harness power? My truck was sprayed in bed liner nose to tail prior to me having it so most of the wire tags are gone of unreadable.

I can jump 24v to the ignition side of the starter switch and the smart box will click over but still nothing for lights.

I had something similar, and it turned out that my smart box Genius Box was not entirely screwed in properly on both the hood and dashboard sides.

At other times, I have seen people have problems because they are not in either park or neutral.

I am certain that you have done it however I would make sure that each battery connection and each black and wire main battery connection are clean and tight.
