Emergency brake Removal

OK my fellow steel soldiers what's the trick to removing the e brake cable. I see in the TM's there is a steel box of sorts that bolts to the underside of the floor with a clamp on the cable inside it. I can't see how to get to it to remove it. I have removed the two rear bolts but not even close to the front bolts. Any advice, shortcuts or tricks of switching out this cable?
