Just an FYI..

I took the M1084A1 to the beach last weekend and had a blast.. I noticed the Fan was all the time on and sounded like a 747 on takeoff...
I spent the last two days diagnosticating everything and low and behold, the fan switch plug was inserted into the light check switch. I did the swaparoo and low and behold it works!

I then checked the two M1078's I have with fan problems and same issue I swapped the connectors and viola!

Moral of the story, if you have a fan problem check the switch first!

Please forgive my ignorance...Are you talking about the the plug behind the fan off/on switch on the driver's dash, rather than the fan air solenoid valve behind the passenger kick panel?

I just sorted out a fan issue myself, but it involved the air solenoid behind the passenger kick panel. It is much quieter with that working properly! Now we can build some heat since the weather is starting to turn more fall-like.
