engine noise again

Ok so i did the passenger side exhaust manifold and motor mount. The last trip I took the exhaust got real loud. So after replacement the exhaust is quiet. But the motor is real loud at start and when you first take off its super loud. It does quiet down some but real bad at initial start....

Are you talking about a cold engine? They start with the timing advaced(noisy) and in about a mile or so, the cold advace timing drops back to normal. There is a huge sound difference.

well cold for nc like 80ish out side. Its louder then it used to be almost sounds like a bad gasser. Berrings or something

Cold, as in, not been running. Coolant temp below 185.

Yes inital start is real loud. sorry, below 185. sounds like its gonna throw a rod thru the passenger side of truck
