(First time EUC)

Vehicle insurance Nationwide (more than 40 years).
Nationwide would not issue (they do cover my two WW2 Dodges),
"Subbed" it to Progressive - My Nationwide contact did all the work.
Liability (0.5MM) with all other state requirements - no collision/comp.
"Commercial vehicle not used for commercial purposes"
The know exactly what it is (I withheld nothing).
Took 2.75 hours. Mostly on phone.
Took the extra time for Progressive to "override" (his term) 6 digit
serial number.

yee haa!

Congratulations! When do you pick up your A3? Progressive and State Farm are two of the insurance companies that don't hassle you about insuring a Deuce, and their prices are reasonable.

First thank you for your service in Vietnam. I drew Korea instead...Thank God.

Progressive insures my Mv's as well....you should have heard the phone conversation when my agent was trying to explain what a 5ton tribute Vietnam Guntruck was!!!:-o
She (my agent) is a valley sorta blond and she was describing the GT on the phone....sounded like this:::arrow:

"Well...it's like a big black Army truck with a big open metal box on the back with some big guns on the sides and back".

I had to take over the phone and explain what she was actually seeing...then all was good!!!:grd:

It's all about communication...and commercial insurance.

Thanks Papa.
I gotta say Korea at that time had problems, too.
My high school friend, Jim, was riding in a M37 on the DMZ that was ambushed by NKs and all were killed. For some unkown reason, no one on that truck had weapons. I was in the Nam at the time, so think it was late '69. And thanks for your service too. Mark.
