I have the D turbo on mine so for the most parts it's quiet. BUT, when you're in the throttle deep and let off to shift you hear that " SSSSSSssssshhhhhh" as it spools down it's just so cool!

hopefully one day I can either add a turbo to my truck or obtain one with a turbo. That is a sound I do enjoy and do not have.

Look right in this thread someplace, some one is going to remove a "C" soon. Maaybe make a deal?

I love the sound my Cat exhaust makes when coasting to a stop. The turbo whine is great when accelerating and going up hills! And I can listen to it all safely without ear plugs

I also enjoy hearing the horn. Sounds a bit different from regular civilian truck horns!

I couldn't care less about the super singles singing against the pavement, though. It obscures other noise I should be paying attention to!
