First Mule?

I thought the year was 1948 but what you show in the article was the jungle burden carrier. Prototypes were built but it was never put into production. First mule production was in 1958.

I meet a guy said he worked for crosley on the mule development after the war til the early 50s has some example still have to go before he dies check it out but here is some pic provided to me. sorry forget the truck it a dodge somthing or other but it cool

1943 Crosley "MULE" T-37

Reviving this old thread with a recent "discovery" of another old rendition of a "MULE".

It's a very interesting article AND design concept. This specimen being SAVED and RESTORED is quite a story in itself.
