I bought my first of three deuces in 2007. Strange vehicles to say the least. I began replacing the worn stuff first. Tires, gauges, seat covers and such. Then I moved to the engine stuff, new belts and such.
Along the way I became acquainted on the net with a guy know mostly as JT. He was selling oil filter adapters, fuel filte adapters and such.
They looked good. I bought them. Easy to put on. Not one problem with any of them in five years.
I went out to start the engines today for their monthly run when I am not driving one of the other at some point.
I got to thinking when I looked at the oil pressure, I wonder if the five years these motors have lasted is due to JT and his adapters?
I do not know. I just know I am very pleased with JT and his parts.
