Florida military vehicle registration (how did you do it?)

I sold a 52 m37 to a man in Florida and he is having trouble registering it to drive because Florida has to do a VIN verification and the the VIN # on title does not match with the #
stamped on frame ,and the data plates are not stamped. I bought it and sold it with a clear title.
