I was going over everything under the hood today and noticed something missing from the power steering reservoir. I determined it was the breather that was missing. Looks like it just came unscrewed and disappeared. I ordered a replacement one and it's on the way.
I'm concerned that dust/dirt/crud could have gotten into the reservoir. I was thinking about changing the fluid over to power steering fluid anyway. How would I go about flushing the old fluid out of the system? Any suggestions on what fluid to use?
