Just to let everyone know, Fort Bliss has now went to a pass required to enter post. All vehicles with trailers (including cars with trailers) are required to enter through Chaffee Gate. This includes anyone with a active ID card that has a cargo type vehicle like a U-Haul or is towing a trailer. It is a 24 hour gate.
If you are driving a vehicle without a trailer, you have to get a pass at one of the pass gates. The ones I know off the top of my head are Chaffee, Sheridan, Robert E. Lee (now changed to buffalo solder) gates.
If you do not have a US govt ID (active/retired/army civilian/federal law enforcement), you cannot enter Cassidy gate under any circumstances AND again, you can't come through Cassidy with a trailer or a cargo vehicle.
