I'm sure someone out there has tried duallys on front. But regardless we got a 2nd spare, bud nuts etc... and mocked it up for this weekend. We're gonna see just how tough these 5 ton front ends really are.

Here's some mock up pics. I'll add more pics of it in action from this weekend at Redneck Yacht Club, Punta Gorda, FL

But the big question is, will the outer axle components like the hubs, knuckles, bearings etc handle the stress well? Sure would like to know how well the ones pictured in 11Echo's post above did with thier setup?

Watch hitting something hard with the outer wheel, it will put a lot of shock load on the selector shaft, just ask MDMORGAN who BROKE his right at the steering box, he dueled up his deuce at the GA.SS rally 3 years ago as his wife was heard saying,"YOUR GOING TO BREAK SOMETHING"

Yeah, but in all fairness, she broke the other deuce this year.

Truck did GREAT with duallys! Had other unrelated issues/mishaps at Redneck Yacht Club but no problems with duallys. Helped a little with pulling and mudding. But our M923a2 does much better in a side by side comparison going through the nasty! Here's pics of both trucks and up close with the tries on.

Do you guys run a lower pressure on the outside tires to relieve stress when
the wheel is turned left or right?

See center picture post #2, see outer tire angled down.

No ran normal 70 PSI in all tires. We thought about lowering all to 25 PSI but didn't want to spend half day refilling tires when we were done. So we just left all at 70 PSI.
