Front turn signal lights for the 708

I'm leaning toward these amber clearance lights, but am dithering a bit on where to place them - optimal visibility vs whacking them on a tree.
Any suggestions ?
The rears will be red and mounted on the outboard side of the bumperettes.

The easiest and best deal is Gama Goat amber front lenses. They fit the original housings.

I did do scratch build mods similar to the gamma goats years ago (in the late 80s, I think - dunno how the bracket for this one got bent). The additions I'm describing in this post are supplements intended to provide lateral visibility during turns.
As an aside, the tires are Firestone Super All Tractions. Wish they still made them.
