Front winch removal and teardown

Did anyone document (or film) the removal and teardown of the front winch on the M925 or M936A2?
Mine is stuck and it's leaking.
Doesn't look too terribly hard, but don't want to re-invent the wheel if a video about it is out there.

Took just a bit of searching, so I figured I'd post here and save the next person a few minutes.
I found a good diagram in the 209-2320-272-34P-2 manual.
Starting at figure 381.
It has nice diagrams and complete parts lists.
https://www.xm381.com/TMs_Files/TM%209-2320-272-34P-2.pdf

Since I was specifically looking for a seal on the non-powered side, mine is figure 387. "Front Winch Basic, Drum and Related Parts.", and I should need part #34 5330-01-119-5801 10875107-7 19207 SEAL,PLAIN ENCASED

I think that is the same seal i need. I attempted to service with lucas oil stabilizer and danged if that thick stuff didnt leak out, im guessing till it go below the bad spot in seal.

I did look in the winch tm for disassembly and it references the tck tm and tck says winch. Someone forgot to inform the other, they werent putting the teardown procedures in the tm

Yup.
If you look at the TM I posted, it has a very, very nice breakdown and part numbers to boot.
I need to look at it again, but at first glance, it looked like the powered and non-powered sides listed different seal numbers.

For others that are looking at seals.
The smaller seal on the shaft: 387 31 PAFZZ 5330-00-740-9697 7409697 19207 SEAL,PLAIN,ENCASED

After some digging, here is what I found:
Also, looks like Timkin 486567 is a fit:
And one shop said that this SKF 85X110X10 CRW1 R is close enough: https://www.motionindustries.com/products/sku/00605520

Yes. It took a bit of doing, but she's all apart.
The other seal (smaller one) is ripped as well, so now I'm trying to locate it.

Whacha need? The winch is apart, so any pictures or parts are easy enough to photograph and send over.
I was just curious how things were going with the tear down. Im gonna have to dive into a crane winch gearbox and cable drum since I'm leaking gear oil from the gb and the non powered side, the bearing looks to be worn out since its wobbling in the mount. unfortunately, the bearings and seals don't pop up on the vendor's sites. but I'm gonna take a gander at the federal stock number link you provided.

Im gonna overhaul one front winch and one crane winch, then pull my winches and replace them with overhauled ones, then overhaul the pull offs. good thing i bought two of everything when i got my truck.

It's the same winch. The 939s just use an adapter on the output shaft the 809 series driveshafts hook to.
Thank you very much. So the 809 series... would that 809 be in the serial number? Another question. Would those two series have the same seal around the input shaft that mine would have for the drive shaft driven series? Sorry if I seem ignorant to these winches, never dealt with these. Here are some pictures of what I have to verify we're on the same page. Also would they have the same seal on the rear of the gear box? I'm assuming the part that looks like flywheel (for lack of better words) is so you can switch it around If you need you input shaft to the left side. Thanks again.

M809 is the series of the trucks

Winch stuff starts at figure 473 in the link below.

What you seek is in figure 474 #24

try this TM. TM 9-2320-260-34P-2 it shows the pto dive shaft and chain

for the above mentioned tm i posted, Fig 380, item # 59 P/N: 17657/55-542465 and NSN 5330-01-150-9691
and for additional P/Ns try this link, already on the above mentioned NSN https://www.wbparts.com/rfq/5330-01-150-9691.html

Both the TMs Simp and myself posted, show the same P/N which also shows as a p/n on the wbparts link

@Mario

looking at the TMs i have, the driven side (driver side, drum lock and free spool/engage handle) or non powered side as you called it, TM 9-2320-260-34P-2 FIG 380 item # 7 P/N 10875107-7 NSN 5330-01-119-5801 and in the tm link you provided TM 9-2320-272-34P-2 FIG 387 item # 34 large seal, seems to be difficult to source, even with the FSN web link you provided. Big Mikes show to be sold out, but he has the small seal fig 380 item # 41 and fig 387, item # 31 small seal, which cross references to the FSN link you posted. Were you ever able to locate the driven side seal? Did you by chance take measurements of the seal?

Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I wasn't getting notifications. :-(
