FRP Troop Seats Installed

Finally got off work on time before the sun went down. Been waiting all week to install my frp troop seats. They have been sitting in the back of my truck since Sunday morning. The ones that came with the truck were wood, missing hignes, and not worth fixing.

Headack rack, left side, and right side all FRP. Install was easy and would reccomend the FRP over the woods hands down.

FYI the bed is red from all the mulcth i hauled last week

SO the frp is this something you made if so were did you get it and how much and how tough are they.

I bought the setup from CARNC new old stock.

I would say tougher than wood. I know they will last longer. Also, no worries a paint flakes poking passengers.

So they are normal fiberglass seats?

If you are talking about fibreglass I agree, great upgrade.I got lucky as a local reserve unit wrecked their M35a3 and before they turned it in I conned them out of the the troop seats that were in the truck.

Looks good I put wooden ones on my truck about two months ago. I like a deuce with the troop seats!

man I want troop seats for mine. that's a nice looking set up you have there.

Keep some paint on them or you will start to get itchy. I had to cut a bunch when making replacement seat boards for the CUCV. Fiberglass dust from the saw is nasty.

Going to put the FRP bows and tarp on tomorrow.

I think I am going take the old ones to the dump.

These are stock FRP seats I picked used

Keep the metal parts of the seats. I could use four to six of the metal uprights for a project.
