about two years ago i had to have my front axle rebuilt, cost me $700 just fo the rebuild.

I just looked under my blazer and it seems to have a dana 44 front and GM 10-bolt rear. Just to add my little bit of info.

Unless someone swapped a D44 under your CUCV that's a 10 bolt.
If there was one thing that GM kept static and rigid when it came to production it was the CUCV's. The government paid for dual 10 bolts so they got dual 10 bolts. Parts commonality and all.
