Fuel burning heaters require patience

Tested my heater the other day and was reminded of how long it takes to get them started. It was the first time in about 18 months and it took exactly 4 (four) minutes before it was running on its own.

I picked up two Engineered Air Systems heaters model H82 HDU-36e from Ft Meade a few months ago but haven't gotten to them yet.

What model are you working on?

Most if not all my stuff is vintage, ca 1969. The heater is a Benmar.

OK, good to hear you got it running. Before this fall I have to get to mine and hopefully get at least one operational.
