Fuel filter lines

I ordered a new fuel filter base but it won't be here until next week. I want to get a cheap inline filter so I can go to the store. I don't have a micrometer. What are the inlet and outlet sizes? Just looking with a ruler I have 7/16 and 1/4. I thought I saw it somewhere on here but can't find it now. Does anybody know if they make an inline filter with the two sizes? Can I clam the bigger hose down enough to fit on a 1/4 fitting? I only need it to last a couple days until my part comes in.

its 3/8 in to the filter and 1/4 inch to the injection pump.
