Fuel filter seal sources?

I'm due to leave for the VT rally on Friday afternoon, and want to change my fuel filters first. I have the filters, but I can't locate the seals. From searches on this site I can only find two part numbers for Napa, but I have called 2 different Napa stores and both told me the numbers aren't current numbers (no listing for anything by that number). The numbers I used were: 5221 or 5406.

Any further suggestions? If Napa has stopped carrying them, which seals are you all using?

If I can't locate seals, what are the chances of being able to re-use the old seals? I believe the filters were replaced in 2005, and 1500 miles ago.

EDIT: By some trial and error for the numbers, we found the actual numbers are Wix numbers, 15221 or 15406. Unfortunately after more phone calls I find that I can't order the gaskets unless I want to pay over $12 for a special order charge, and it could be 1-3 weeks before I see them.

Another edit: I can buy Wix number 51148 filter which includes the proper seal (John Deere filter) for $7.50 each. I guess to have them today, $15 is better than $12+ and waiting up to 3 weeks. I know several John Deere owners who would gladly take the extra filters.

If you talking the Secondary fuel filter gaskets the P/N is 5070.

From what I've read the 3511(Primary filter) comes with the proper gasket.

These are Napa part numbers

I got my secondary and final filters off and the secondary one wasn't even installed correctly! The top of the filter wasn't lined up and seated properly, so the top of the filter was offset about 1/2" of center. The can bolt was VERY tight, and the rear of the filter can had been leaking slightly at the upper seal. This explains why. The last mechanic must have tried to tighten it until it stopped leaking.

I was able to locate 1 of those seals in Maine, but that's all they can get. I'll use it to replace the one that was leaking, and take a chance and see if the other seal will hold without leaking.

Hopefully after all this my power problem will be gone.
