Hi Yall! i have been looking in my tech manual and can't seem to find any info on this subject, ( just overlooking it im sure) but someone gave me 200 gal. of cooking oil and i would like to use it, but there's a big yellow sticker on the side of one of my oil filter canisters that reads " use diesel fuel only, fuel injection pump compensator has been by-passed to prevent fuel dilution of engine oil, instructions are attached to reconnect the compensator in case of the emergency use of other fules"
i have read in a post some where that even though the comp.is by-passed, other fules can still be used, is that so? how do i tell if it's still by-passed? (cant find any instructions). how does this comp. work and why would it cause fuel dilution of the engine oil? any help would be greatly appreciated.
