I think I read somewhere that you should keep the fuel level in the tank full at all times in cold weather to avoid water condensation in the tank.
Is 2/3 full ok or still not a good idea?
Just wondering since I can't drive the Deuce to fill it up (haven't had time to replace the leaking
axle seal yet) so a few trips with the gas can are in order if this is recommended.
Also, if water does make it into the system does the fuel filter canisters catch it?
Is there a drain at the bottom to let it out if they do before it makes it to the injectors?
If so what is the process - just turn on the fuel pump and crack the fitting?
I have seen water seperators on Semi trucks, is this a "should do" thing?
Too many questions all at once?
