Fuel Line Fitting Size

We are about to swap out the OEM fuel tank for a larger tank, and I am having difficulty determining the thread size of one half of the elbow that goes to the pickup tube. The thread size of the part of the elbow that screws into the tank is 1/2" NPT. The other side of the elbow is a flared fitting that is neither 3/8 MIP nor 5/16. The new fuel tank has the same 1/2" NPT fitting for the pickup tube, but I can't find an elbow with the proper size fitting/threads for the female fuel line connection. (see arrow) Any ideas what threads they are? Thanks

It's all JIC, which is just cheaper/looser AN.

You'll find some ORB, but the whole truck is going to be largely JIC.

Better yet - just take the old hoses to any good fitting/hose supplier and they can make them for you while you wait.

And when considering larger tanks - consider frame flex in terms of the mounting straps and length as long tanks with the straps relatively far apart can result in broken welds. Personally I prefer multiple tanks then you have redundancy in case of a puncture or hose leak. And the factory tanks/straps are often cheap due to people making poor decisions and swapped them out for worse designs.

Wow, that was quick. Really appreciate it. That was my next step General. I even considered cutting the pickup tube off the existing elbow and just using that fitting. I just didn't want to destroy the pickup tube in case someone wants this fuel tank. Big help you guys - as usual.
