Fuel Pump Amperage in Tank

I have spent the last 2 hours trying to find the TM manual about the tank fuel pump for an M35A2.

I replaced the fuse in the pump a couple months ago when the pump stopped working. I checked it today and the pump was not working. I looked and the fuse looked like it was blown. I put another one in and it did the same thing. My father put another one in and it worked, but after we checked back after 10 minutes of running, it continued to make the same marks on the filament. Does anyone know the exact amperage of the pump and what it is made to handle? The original one in it had an old 8 Amp Slow Blow. I put the same fuses in but if they continue to blow I either have to small of a fuse, or there is a voltage spike between the cables or the pump itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
