fuel tank question

I have had a leak in my fuel tank for a while now and cant seem to fix it so im just gonna need to bite the bullet and buy a new one i think. My problem is that the TMs say that the tank is a 27 gallon tank and everywhere i look i cant find one that is 27. The closest i was able to find was a 25 gallon through auto zone. would that work alright? I already need to swap out the fuel sending unit so im not worried about if the old unit would fit into the new tank.

What vehicle do you need a tank for?

LMC list only 25 and 31 for the Blazer. I'd guess the mil tank is counting the fuel in the filler neck.

A google search for that shows 25 gal tanks.

sorry it took so long, bit going on right now. yes it is an M1009 and thanks for the info on the filler neck. guess i know what tank to order now.
