Help my m1009 fuel tank has a leak where can i get the gm part # or get a replacement tank?

LMC, or several places. My favorite, is National Automotive lines, in Indiana. They will ups tanks, American Designer brand I believe , to your door, and prices are around $65 to $90 or so, plus shipping.

Thanks I'll try them the I don't want to repair it then have another leak.I had rather start new.

Advance Auto Parts lists several different manufacturers for the tank, ranging from $80-$150 or so.
